The scooter will leave Chau Doc city for Tra Su forest through the countryside road, not the main car road. This absolute experience is only for the motorbike tour. On the way, you will see hundreds of hectares of rice fields and the tour guide will stop at one of the best rice fields to visit to learn all about Mekong Delta rice fields (rice fields is seasonals in the dry season). Beside rice fields, this way is all about the countryside, you may see lotus farms and water buffalos during the wet season. Of course, on this trip, you sometimes will see green or yellow rice fields or farmers are harvesting on the farm or the countryside views of Mekong rural lives near the border of Vietnam in Chau Doc village.

Tra Su forest tour and activities

Arrive at Tra Su forest (planted from the 80s). The tour guide then helps you with boat tickets and get on board. After sitting on a motor boat for around 20 minutes to contemplate the natural sights, you will take to the rowing sampan (about half hour) to watch birds and enjoy the most beautiful flooded forest in Vietnam as well as SE-Asia. Afterwards, get back to the motorboat and reach inner the forest. Take 500-meter walking to get to the 25-meter observation post to enjoy the fascinating view over the mountain in the area, the expanses of cajeput forest. Take an amazing bamboo walking bridge in the forest in Vietnam which gives you much time to feel the beauty of nature.

Hang pagoda – Phuoc Dien pagoda Chau Doc

Visit the Hang pagoda – Phuoc Dien pagoda Chau Doc. The tour guide will escort and help you to explore the pagoda. Hang means cave. You can not find the caves (without the tour guide's escort) and more magical hidden caves like a tunnel in this pagoda. It is so cool to get to the end of the cave at the big rocks and enjoy the beauty of this stunning pagoda since 1840. (The tour guide will set a meeting point for you, if you do not want to conquer the caves).

Sunset Sam mountain - the best checkin spot in Chau Doc

After the Hang pagoda, the scooter tour keeps riding up to the Sam mountain. As a local tour guide expert, we will take you to the best checkpoint on the mountain at the magic double rock (see the guest photos please) for the sometimes sunet (afternoon tour) and enjoy the rice fields (seasonal) from the mountain.

Around 12:00 Noon (or 6:00 PM), end the tour at your hotel in Chau Doc city center. Welcome back to the next trip!
